Those of you who are regular visitors to our website have probably read the news already. We are moving home and office from South Africa to USA. We will be settling in Virginia Beach on the East Coast, on the southern shore of the mouth of Chesapeake Bay.

This move will result in a period of disruption in the services that we can supply. To assist you in dealing with us, the following is our approximate schedule.

1) Close of business in South Africa - 30 November.
2) Short family holiday - 6-14 December.
3) Packing and shipping of furniture and equipment - 17-19 December.
4) Departure from South Africa 9 January, arriving Virginia Beach 11 January.
5) Email connections mid January.
6) Arrival of furniture and equipment - Last week of January.
7) Re-open for business - First week of February (we hope).

Throughout the process we will be unable to process any orders. If you want to receive an order from us during December or January, please put in your order by 25th November at the latest. We will mail in the first week of December at the latest, so you will receive the order during December.

Email backup will be available most of the time. This will not be the case during phases 2) and 4-5). At other times our email response may be slow, so we ask you to please bear with us.

We hope to be able to provide our normal level of service by the beginning of February. We will have new things to learn in operating from a new country but expect to adapt quickly.

We have received a big rush of orders during November in anticipation of our shut-down. To those of you who placed those orders, thank you and we look forward to liasing with you when needed during your projects as well as occasional photos to show off your work.

Please check that you have our current email address in your address book. Our dixyacht@iafrica.com address will no longer work after December. Our dd@dixdesign.com address is receiving masses of junk mail and will be phased out soon. Please address all email to the address that you will find in the email link on our Contact page.
