Sentinel Boats is based in my home village of Hout Bay, near to Cape Town.

This small company is a partnership between Peter Adamo and Pierre Malan. They concentrate mainly on traditional open dinghies, some of which are built of plywood and others of GRP. Recently they have moved over more toward production GRP, for which their mouldings are made by Simon Bongers Boatbuilders. Sentinel Boats do the finishing work themselves and also undertake occasional custom projects.
