West Coast Marine

West Coast Marine is based in Saldanha Bay on the West Coast of South Africa, 70 miles North of Cape Town.

Owned and operated by Gert Bruwer, West Coast Marine is a major marine painting contractor working on vessels of the commercial fishing fleets as well as undertaking general engineering work and boatbuilding.

To date they have built our Hout Bay 33 and Dix 43 radius chine steel designs and the Didi 34 in radius chine plywood. They produce excellent work in both mediums.

Hout bay 33

West Coast Marine built the structure of the Hout Bay 33 "Alexis" for the owner, who did the fitting out in his own building yard.
