Phil's Foils is based in Ottawa, Canada. They specialise in CNC cutting of rudders and other boat foils but can also take on small scale hull models. Their CNC milling machine allows them to produce highly accurate core shapes, for finishing with skins to suit your budget and project requirements.

Phil's Foils is owned and operated by Phil Locker, who took the opportunity of a downturn in the computer industry to start the business early in 2003. This allowed him to turn his sailing interests and hobby into full-time work. He has recently moved the business into new workshop premises where he can produce foils from strip wood or foam cores with skins of glass, carbon or kevlar laminates.

Phil's Foils have cut foils for our Didi Mini and Didi 26 designs but can also cut for any of our designs that have wood or composite foils. We would supply CAD files as the basis from which Phil would work.
