"Blue Pearl" is a strong and capable cruiser with some amazing passages under her keel. Her voyages have taken her crew to the Arctic, Antarctic, Cape Horn, the Mediterranean and all 5 oceans. See below for a map of her voyages up to the end of 2005. After that she continued cuising the West coast of the Americas to complete her circum-navigation. She is a Dix 43 Pilot radius chine aluminum cruising cutter and was built by Jacobs Brothers of Cape Town, South Africa.
