"Bagheera" is a Shearwater 39, built by Nebe Boats in Cape Town, South Africa. The Shearwater 39 has an enviable reputation as a great cruiser with both good looks and speed. I have crossed the Atlantic on one of these boats and they are fast, comfortable and very seaworthy. She was launched in 1995 and is fully equipped for ocean cruising. She has had a complete refit, with all major systems replaced in the past 3 years. Her entire interior has recently been revarnished. A new Yanmar motor was installed in 2011.
