The standard design has laminated timber rudders that are glass/epoxy covered. This builder, Mark Paterson, has chosen to build moulds to make vacuum bagged carbon/epoxy rudders. Here the two halves of a blade are being vacuum bagged.

Completed carbon/epoxy rudder. The owner is available to make rudders for other builders of our Didi Mini series designs, all of which use the same rudders. Please email Dudley Dix, who will put you in contact with Mark Paterson.
