Seaview Boatyards started in 1973, with one location in Seattle. They have expanded steadily over the years and now operate three yards. Two are in Seattle and the newest is in Bellingham, all in Washington State, USA. They provide a wide variety of boat maintenance, repair and boatbuilding services.

They have 35 ton travellifts at each of their yards as well as one of 88 ton in Seattle and one of 150 ton capacity at their Bellingham yard, so are able to take on large repair and maintenance contracts. Bellingham is also their main location for wooden boatbuilding.

Seaview actively encourage DIY workers to make use of their premises. To quote from their own website, "At Seaview we encourage do-it-yourselfers who work on their own boats. We recognize that many owners have the expertise to do their own maintenance and repairs, but if they find that their needs are greater than their knowledge, our experienced crew and facilities are available to assist. For our do-it-yourself customers, we have a fully stocked yard store at each location and each work site has convenient water, electricity and compressed air."

The owner was building this Didi 38 but a job relocation prevented him from completing the project himself. Seaview Boatyard North undertook the completion of the project, seen here on hull turn-over day.
