Insulation installed between hull stringers, grounds fitted to stringers to receive hull liners and bulkheads fitted.

Peter has chosen to fit lightweight sandwich bulkheads to save weight. This can be a worthwhile investment for a steel boat, which suffers from excessive structural weight when compared with boats built from other materials..

Western red cedar facings on joinery and bulkheads. Peter chose this timber because it is easy to work and has a warmth to it. It is also lightweight.
