The hull is lifted out of the building cradle.

It is lined up over the lower keel.
|
|
The hull is carefully lowered onto the keel.
|
|
The upper and lower keels are welded to each other.
|
|
The hull, with ballasted lower keel attached, is lifted and moved back to the building frame, where it will be propped to keep it upright at its now elevated height.
