Macdev International

Macdev International is a relative newcomer to the boating industry, expanding from the construction industry where they have been in business since 1991. They are based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Owners Craig and Alistair have been boating enthusiasts since an early age and have been involved in various dinghy building projects as well as repair and maintenance of ageing offshore yachts. In 2000 they invested in GRP production moulds for three offshore yachts, of which the TLC 27 is our design and the first to go into production.

They have built up a good team of artisans for the GRP and woodwork, with some 25 years experience each for the laminators. They are committed to producing boats to the highest interantional standards.

The TLC 27 is available in either fixed keel or dropkeel versions. She is suitable for coastal or offshore cruising.
