This material list is for building with polyester resin, as was normal when this boat was designed. It is now more normal to use epoxy resin and fillets. If the joints between the risers and hull are to be tied, add another 20m [65'] of 50mm [2"] fibreglass tape and deduct 10m [33'] of 20x20mm [3/4"x3/4"] timber. Hardware Note that bolts, screws and rivets for the fastening of the hardware should be purchased at the same time as the hardware to ensure that the correct sizes are supplied, with allowance for the thickness of material to which they are to be fastened. All hardware can be replaced with similar from other manufacturers. Manufacturers' catalogues change occasionally, which can throw a hardware list such as this. We cannot keep up with the changes but will make allowance when possible, so the list below may be slightly different from what is shown on the drawings. If the listed harware is not available when you order, please substitute other suitable items.
